We meet Jeremy Kristmas who gets rudely awoken by his brother after being in stasis for two centuries. Groggy and not really understanding why he was awakened, he comes to terms that he is to 'clean up' his brother’s mess, again! He also does not want to fall in love with another human because he had lost Cordelia.

Then he sees her...a spitting image of Cordelia, but her name is Lynette. And his brother has made a mess of everything. Now it is he that has to try to convince her that he is a good man, er, vampire.

After she lashes out at him, he tells her that he is Jeremy and that the one that hurt her was his twin brother, Jared. But there is someone else that could possibly be his long lost love. But in the end, will someone indeed have a Merry Vampire Kristmas?

Ms. Michaels created a touching story with the back story being short and sweet, just enough to let you know about Jeremy's past with Cordelia. She created a world where the vampires live on an island and seem to have accumulated wealth. But they are down to earth and real. I felt for both Jeremy and Lynette. I know everyone hopes that loves soul will find them one day.

Review: Mary's Christmas Wish

Mary's Christmas Wish
Wild Rose Press
December 2, 2008
ISBN: not assigned
E-book: 12 pages
Price: $1.50
Genre: Paranormal (Fantasy/Futuristic)
Rating: Sweet

Everyone deserves to live long and happy lives. Although for Mary, who is dying, her life wasn't as happy as it could have been. After having a visit from a family member, a stranger dressed as Santa comes to her room and asks if she could go back in time what part of her life would she try to change?

After some thinking that maybe this fella was strange, she decided that before she died she would get her big secret off her shoulders to him. Then maybe she would die peacefully.

So she tells him. Then things start to get a little weird as she learns to forgive herself. And before she knows it her wish has come true.

Ms. Coumans' wrote this story with a lot of feeling. It isn't very overwhelming, it's quite sweet. I think we've all had moments where we wish we could back and try to change something in our pasts. Although we know that it won't happen, maybe whatever was done, would help us learn to forgive ourselves and move forward. At least that's what this book has taught me.

Blind Love is an incredible story. Dr. Jared Fields finds himself searching for love with no hope. He had a spell cast upon him – he is a human monster by day and at night he is a shape shifter. He rescues a woman from the plane crash. He would like her to stay and be with him, but he knows that if she could see him, she would run screaming. Or so she thinks.

Anna becomes blind after the crash and while Jared takes care of her, she realizes that she loves him no matter what he looks like. He is kind and caring and tells her his sad story.

Tamelia Tumlin spun a great tale of love. The beauty loves the beast --- and brings truth to the old saying ‘Love is Blind’.

Elyesha is a witch, the last surviving of her powerful line, and she finds her true love in an unexpected form. Her family forbids their love, but she cannot control her feelings. When Ben can handle his feelings of guilt over their love any longer, he severs all ties and disappears from her life. Elyesha vows that she will find him, no matter what, because they belong together forever.

Elyesha finally finds Ben after many years of despair and loneliness. Now she must convince him that they can be together, despite the high cost that will be paid by each of them.

Foretaste of Forever is a short, erotic romance, filled with love, passion, and sadness. Elyesha loves Ben, and has loved him before she even met him. Her vision showed him to her and she feel in love instantly. Her love for him, followed by her grief and loneliness after losing him, was an almost palpable thing. Ben feels the same for her, but he fights their love with everything he is and has. He knows that the cost of their love is too high and he sacrifices his own heart and happiness to avoid paying that price. This fast paced story had me sighing from the passion and love and nearly crying with sorrow for these two soul mates. I enjoyed Foretaste of Forever and look forward to reading more of Christina Phillips’ work.

When Alexi Morgan lost her brother, she also seemed to lose the most important part of herself - her ambition to paint. Her boss tells her that he feels the wolf is her earth spirit and will return someday to guide her through life.

Alexi moves to the forest to regain her artistic spirit. She meets someone who will change her life forever in Jake, her employer. Jake tries to convince her of her ability but she must learn for herself just what she can create.

Meanwhile, in the forest a wolf is searching for.....something.

This novella would be wonderful in a full length book. Alexi is someone I would like to learn more about and the story of how she came to the mountains to work for Jake I'm sure would make great reading. Jake himself is a mystery altogether! …Beautiful descriptions, well written and thought-provoking...
