Samantha is a witch; and one that knows herself very well. She is very intelligent, very well researched in Wicca, and has spent a lot of time getting closer to herself and learning what she believes. When a lost soul continues to come near her home, walking near a stream in deep thought, his despair pulls at her, night after night. Finally, she feels that she must help him and approaches him to offer him her deal.

David is an ad executive, who was once very good at his job. Lately, he cannot find his creative side and is exhausted, trying to keep up with his job. When the lovely Samantha approaches him, he cannot resist her. He has never met anyone so in tune with himself or herself. She knows who she is and what she believes in, without a doubt. She offers him a sex spell, which he cannot turn down. When the spell is over, will David be able to walk away and never experience Samantha again?

Kiki Howell wove a story of magic that drew me in on the first page. I was impressed with Samantha and how well she knows herself and her craft. David is like most of us; he has lost his way and does not know who he is or what he wants any longer. Kiki’s use of words and descriptions is indescribable and weaves a kind of magic around the reader. This is my first experience with Kiki Howell, but after reading The Healing Spell, she is now at the top of my to be read list!
