What happens when authors combine the elements of two struggling romance sub-genres? ---- Magic, that's what! Marketing studies indicate that the major audience for paranormal romance is under the age of thirty, while that of regency romance is projected as 50 and over. Some incredible romance writers have risked all to bring us both in one book. It is our hope that these offerings will encourage new readers to expand their horizons. Editor's Note: I discovered regency romance and featured authors, Karen Harbaugh and Jo Beverley, through a paranormal romance anthology entitled Faery Magic and went on to read their other works. For author Sandra Heath, blending the two subgenres is NOT an aberation, she's written ten of them! Rosemary Stevens invites the readers to enjoy Lord and Master, a regency which features a genie as the hero's manservant!
