1st Anniversary Issue ~ February 2001
Collaborations --When two heads are even better than one!
Ah, February is a month that inspires love. We invite all romance lovers to celebrate PNR's first anniversary online. My we've grown. In the past year the paranormalromance list has tripled in size. We are delighted that so many readers have made it their home. February also marks the second annual PEARL (Paranormal Excellence Award for Romantic Literature) vote. It sure was hard deciding among the many wonderful 2000 paranormal romance offerings. This year's ceremony was held live, at the monthly PNR chat at Writerspace. Congratulations to all the Nominees and Winners.
Love is a collaboration. When it comes to romance writing, sometimes two heads really can be better than one. When both are truly gifted authors, wonderful novels are the result.
Meet J.M. Jeffries, otherwise known as Miriam Pace and Jacqueline Hamilton, two zany friends who keep each other on their toes! Laugh with them as Cupid and Venus put together yet another romance challenged couple in their third Cupid novel: The Captivating Chauffer.
They say talent runs in families. If Leslie-Christine Megahey and Shirley-Holden Ferdinand, aka Christine Holden, are any example, we heartily agree. Venture to New Orleans, both past and present, as this mother - daughter team offer us a time travel adventure rich in history and emotion, in A Hitch in Time.
One month to go to St. Patrick's Day, but you don't have to wait for your Irish Blessing! Join Elizabeth Keys, aka Susan C Stevenson and Mary Lou Frank and the three Reilly brothers in this historical romance trilogy.
I especially enjoyed turning the tables on PNR Feature Columnist Barbara Sheridan this month, putting her in the hot seat as interviewee. We had so much fun it may become another yearly PNR tradition. Find out about her soon to be released novel, Bittersweet Surrender, the novel that inspired her award winnng time travel, Timeless Wish.
Fans of Cover Model/Actor, John DeSalvo, won't want to miss Fan Appreciation's first annual event. John and FA co-director, author Sandra Dugas have found the perfect way to combine their appreciation for fan support with raising money for a worth cause. Hope to see you all at Virginia Beach this June.
