TIME TRAVEL SERIES COME TO THE SMALL SCREEN

It has been announced the Diana Gabaldon, author of the Outlandish series, which currently consists for four novels (with the fifth, "The Fiery Cross" projected to be released in 2001) , has signed a contract with ABC to air a four hour mini series based on "Outlander".

The mini-series is expected to air in 2001, though a firm date is not now known. Casting will occur once the final script is approved. Can't wait to see who will portray, Jamie and Claire. How about you?

SCI FI PROGRAMING ON THE WB

Lovers of Anne McCaffreys "The Dragon Riders of Pern" novels will be happy to know that the classic Sci Fi saga is slated to become an hour long drama on the WB network. This genre series is slated to debut in the fall of 2001.
