Ah romance covers, so much thought is given to them. Do covers encourage impulse buying? Which cover models sell more books? To clinch or not to clinch, whether to have people on them at all? Will a cover with stepback keep everyone happy? Does it mean the author's "made it" if their name is bigger than the title? What colors to use? Emboss text or not? Indeed just the mention of covers sparks controversy among readers. Speaking of cover models; handsome, muscular, John DeSalvo; who graces the cover of both of this month's featured authors' latest releases is stirring up controversy of his own. John has forsaken his long locks for a more versatile short style. Read John's inteview to learn why? Then let us know what you think about it. Ann Lawrence rocked the paranormal romance world with her fantasy time travel debut novel, VIRTUAL HEAVEN. The soon to be released sequel, Virtual Desire also features Mr. DeSalvo..........as a blond! Step into the world of the Tolemic Wars virtual game with New Jersey native Maggie O'Brien. We'll leave it to the reader to discover the "cover connection" (nope it's not the cover, you'll just have to read the book!) Tracy Fobes got a taste of cover controversy first hand as her novel FORBIDDEN GARDEN was publicized with not one, but two covers! Check out both covers and let us know what you think of the final decision. Then step into the garden with Anne Sherwood and Michael McEvoy for a unique paranormal romance experience. If you dare!
